7. This Gas siphon works well and is well worth the cost. My vac pump died, after a few cheap siphon pumps (which failed quickly) I was ready for quality again. It's a well designed and quality device, I was able to transfer fuel, easily, from two different cars. With a tank, on the floor, It siphoned 1 gal every 4 min for me. Not super fast, but quite acceptable. Wish I had bought this sooner.
9. I used the manual pump first and it WORKED! I have used other suction pumps before and they all were a mess or did not work. This worked the first time and had very little mess (other than the operator). I will be buying another very soon to keep one in each of my vehicles. Using it on a 2009 Toyota Tacoma to pull gas out took just a few tries to put the line in, very easy. Great product! Lee
10. I have not used it yet, but it looks to be constructed of hardy materials. I plan to use it the next time a major storm or earthquake wipes out our electric power for an extended time. Storage of gas to run our generator is a safety issue with me. With this product I expect I can withdraw gas from my vehicle's gas tank to fill and keep my portable generator running.
11. This definitely works as advertised. I had 50 gallons of stale gas i needed to drain from my RV and other methods (jiggle siphon, etc) didn't work. It took me less than a minute to get past the rollover safety device. The extra long power cord and hoses were also a big plus since the power outlet was farther away from the gas filler tube than a car. Highly recommended.
